Summary:
Advance Tank is always looking for elite welders. Our welders will be required to work under a site superintendent and follow instructions. They will be responsible for the fit-up and welding of various plate vessels as well as various other tasks on our job sites. You will be expected to work at various sites including but not limited to refineries, terminals, and power plants.
Welders will also be required to participate in ongoing saftey training and craft training.
All Advance Tank staff will be required to pass a pre-hire physical, DOT drug screen, random drug tests, and background test
Pay varies by experience / Subsistence is offered while on a travel assingment
Responsibilities:
- Fit up and weld variouos plate structures including, tanks, absorbers, and scrubbers.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of vessal welding experience
- Ability to weld in the following positions (Overhead/Vertical/Horizontal)
- Must be able to weld both carbon steel and stainless steel
- Ability to weld E6010
- Ability to weld E7018
- Ability to weld FCAW dual shield wire feed
- Welds will be required to pass x-ray exams and visual exams
- You must be willing and able to work at heights in excess of 300 feet
- You must be willing and able to work in a respirator
- Must be willing and able to travel
- TWIC Card is prefered but not required
